Halloween Fun at Grange Community College

Friday morning before midterm break, we took some time out of our normally hectic academic curriculum to mark and celebrate the successful transition of our first years to Grange Community College. It was also an opportunity to meet and involve the student’s parents in a little Halloween Fun. It began with a welcome to the parents from the principal Mr Smyth. Glenmore provided refreshments and soon our parents were busy under the direction of our craft Teacher Mrs Ni Bhradaigh and our Home School Coordinator Ms Shalvey. Ghost lolly treats and Halloween Lanterns proved to be very popular with both the parents and the students.

Students from our adult Beauty Department kindly volunteered their face-painting expertise and with endless patience did a stunning and beautiful job. Some of our senior students and the Parents’ Association helped to ensure activities ran smoothly and everyone had a good time.

A big thank you to our parents for joining our festivities and to all the staff and students who volunteered their help. Thank you also to Glenmore for their generosity and to our Beauty Department.
