Summer Works 2010In the next major phase of improvement works to Grange Community College a complete re-wiring of the school is being carried out during June, July and August. The work is causing major disruption resulting in the college being closed to the public for the duration of the works. The college will have up to 15 new interactive white boards installed in classrooms. When completed the college will have "smart lighting" to help reduce our electricity bills and of course reduce our carbon footprint. The data network will have a fibre optic between all the classrooms and all other connections on Cat6 cable.

The Gareth Suite opensOn Tuesday May 25th, Dr. Marie Griffin, CEO of County Dublin VEC officially opened our new ASD unit. The unit is named after Gareth Savage to honour the contribution to the school of Mr. Roy Savage who was principal of the college from 1982 until 2002.

New ASD unitAfter weeks of construction work and lots of hard work by teachers and special needs assistants the new ASD unit finally opened for six new students this month.
