Transition Year students complete Robotics Camp in DCU

Transition Year students had a fantastic experience building and coding their very own robots recently in Dublin City University. DCU has partnered with Lego® Education, creating an interactive learning hub with the aim of promoting the skills of innovation and creativity for both students and teachers of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) subjects.

Transition Year students will be entering the FIRST LEGO league competition this year, an event which tasks students with coming up with solutions to real world problems using robotics and coding, helping them to develop the skills necessary for working in the STEM career sector. This fun and innovative competition is organised by the Lego® Education Innovation Studio (LEIS) and Learnit with support from Science Foundation Ireland. Stay tuned for more robotics madness!
