School Uniform
At Grange Community College, we encourage all students to take pride in wearing their school uniform and crest, recognising it as a symbol of belonging to our wider school community. The crest represents our shared values and identity, and wearing it with pride reflects a commitment to the high standards and positive ethos of our school.
School Uniform - Active & Formal
Our uniform has been developed through collaboration with students, parents, and staff, ensuring that it provides choice, affordability, and flexibility for all families. We offer two uniform options, an active uniform and a formal uniform. This allows students to choose the style that best suits their needs while still maintaining a strong sense of school identity. For comfort and practicality, students are permitted to wear all-black runners/trainers instead of formal shoes. These must be completely black, without additional colours, as shown in the acceptable examples provided.
All crested uniform items are purchased through our uniform supplier O’Farrells Schoolwear. All non crested items can be purchased in any retail provider.
Uniform Policy
We operate a clear and structured uniform policy, which is outlined below. It is important that all students adhere to this policy, and sanctions are in place where necessary. To support this, Year Heads carry out weekly uniform checks, and students who arrive out of uniform may be asked to wear school-supplied items for the day.
We ask all parents/guardians to ensure that uniforms meet the required standard for the school year, and to refer to the uniform poster for guidance. By maintaining high standards in uniform, we promote a sense of pride, equality, and respect across our school community
